Is my data stored in the cloud?expand_more
No. ToolMark is local-only. Your tool records, photos, documents, borrower details, and loan history stay on your device unless you choose to export or back them up.
Do I need to create an account?expand_more
No account or login is required to use ToolMark.
Can I share my ToolMark data between my own devices?expand_more
Not yet. ToolMark stores data locally on the device you use today. Sharing between your own devices is coming soon in a future update.
Is there an Android or Web version?expand_more
ToolMark is built for supported Apple devices today. If there is enough interest in other platforms, Android or web versions may be considered later.
Can I scan barcodes?expand_more
Not in this release. ToolMark focuses on fast manual entry, photos, documents, maintenance reminders, lending, and exports.
What happens if I delete the app?expand_more
Deleting the app removes ToolMark's local data from your device. If your iPhone uses iCloud Backup for full device backups, ToolMark's app data may be included in that device backup. You can also create a ToolMark backup from inside the app before deleting it.
How does the Export feature work?expand_more
Full backup and restore are available in both versions. Pro unlocks inventory reports in CSV and PDF formats, plus single-tool reports.
Is there a subscription?expand_more
No subscription is required. Purchase once to unlock the Pro features.
Can I add photos of my tools?expand_more
Yes. The free version allows one photo per tool. Pro unlocks unlimited photos per tool, plus the Pro adds a lending feature which keeps track of before/after condition photos.
How many tools can I track for free?expand_more
The free version lets you track up to 10 tools, with a primary photo, up to 2 documents per tool, warranty tracking, maintenance reminders, and backup/restore.
Can I track who I lent a tool to?expand_more
Yes. Pro users can record the borrower, due date, included accessories, replacement value, condition photos, loan history, and follow-up reminders.
